Avantel Ltd fell 4.18% today to trade at Rs 121.5. The S&P BSE Telecommunication index is down 0.75% to quote at 2119.34. The index is up 2.06 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, GTL Infrastructure Ltd decreased 1.87% and Vindhya Telelinks Ltd lost 1.45% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecommunication index went up 17.74 % over last one year compared to the 11.24% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

Avantel Ltd has added 16.25% over last one month compared to 2.06% gain in S&P BSE Telecommunication index and 6.9% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 1.09 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 5.11 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 136 on 28 Nov 2023. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 22 on 23 Dec 2022.
