Revenue from operations declined by 2.8% year-over-year (YoY) to Rs 301.7 crore during the period under review. For Q2 FY24, dine-in revenue was Rs 257.5 crore (down 4.9% YoY) and delivery revenue was Rs 43.7 crore (up 11.9% YoY).
On the expenditure front, Cost of food and beverages consumed amounted to Rs 102.7 crore (down 2.5% YoY), employee related expenses added up to Rs 72 crore (up 6% YoY) and occupancy and other expenses aggregated to Rs 82.6 crore (up 4.7% YoY) in the second quarter of FY24.
While EBITDA fell by 18.8% to Rs 48.6 crore, EBITDA margin deteriorated by 320 basis points to 16.1% in Q2 FY24 over Q2 FY23.
For the quarter ended 30 September 2023, finance costs and depreciation and amortization charges were Rs 19.5 crore (up 8.5% YoY) and Rs 44.3 crore (up 26.6% YoY), respectively.
The company posted a pre-tax loss of Rs 15.1 crore in Q2 FY24 as against a pre-tax profit of Rs 10.2 crore in Q2 FY23.
