Revenue from operations grew 10.5% year on year (YoY) to Rs 2,194.87 crore during the period under review.
Profit before tax stood at Rs 481.76 crore in the quarter ended 30 September 2023, registering a growth of 21.75% YoY.
Total expenses increased by 11.26% YoY to Rs 1,818.02 crore during the quarter. Rail freight expenses was at Rs 1203.02 crore (up 12.65% YoY) while employee beneifts expense stood at Rs 122.29 crore (up 33.21% YoY) during the period under review.
Meanwhile, the company's board has declared a second interim dividend for FY24 of Rs 3 per equity share. The record date for the same is 16 November 2023 and will be paid/ dispatched to the shareholders on or after 23 November 2023.
CONCOR operates 59 terminals across the country along with two strategic tie-ups. The company's primary operation is to provide inland transportation of containers from ports using rail wagons. The company also manages cold storage chains and warehouses.
The GOI, through the Ministry of Railways, continues to hold a majority stake of 54.8% in the company at the end of September 2023.
