On the segmental front, Telecom Services revenue was Rs 308.48 crore (up 5% YoY) while that from Project Work Services was Rs 290.67 crore (up 117% YoY) for the period under review.
Profit before tax in Q2 FY24 stood at Rs 90.46 crore, up by 22% from Rs 74.04 crore in Q2 FY23.
Sanjai Kumar, chairman and managing director of RailTel, said: "Operationally the company has been performing consistently with an impressive growth of 28% on QoQ basis in operating revenue and 76% QoQ growth in profit before tax during this quarter.
With healthy order book, the company has visibility of substantial growth in operating income in coming quarters."
The company's board has declared an interim dividend of Re 1 per share. The record date for the same is 04 November 2023.
