Revenue from operations jumped 34.55% year on year to Rs 215.06 crore during the quarter ended 30 September 2023.
Profit before tax stood at Rs 43.88 crore in Q2 FY24, up 20.72% from Rs 36.35 crore recorded in Q2 FY23.
EBIDTA stood at Rs 72.04 crore in Q2 FY24, registering the growth of 49% as compared with Rs 53.07 crore posted in corresponding quarter last year.
Total expenses were higher by 39% year on year to Rs 172.07 crore during the period under review. In Q2 FY24, cost of raw material stood at Rs 118.17 crore (up 22.32% YoY), finance costs was Rs 18.46 crore (up 66% YoY) and other expenses stood at Rs 22.51 crore (up 158.14% YoY).
The company's net profit jumped 56.72% to Rs 68 crore on 43.32% increase in revenue from operations to Rs 404.42 crore in H1 FY24 over H1 FY23.
The board recommended an interim dividend of Rs 0.25 per equity share for the financial year 2023-2024. The record date for payment of interim dividend is 20 October 2023.
