The aformesaid power project has been commissioned as an independent power producer (IPP) for sale of power to third parties or on power exchanges.

With the successful commissioning of this plant, AGEL's total operational renewable generation capacity has increased to 8,404 MW, the company stated in a regulatory filing made on Saturday.

The company's consolidated net profit jumped 50.5% to Rs 322 crore in O1 FY24 as compared with Rs 214 crore in Q1 FY23.The net sales increased 35.5% YoY to Rs 2156 crore in Q1 FY24.

The scrip rose 0.15% to settle at Rs 960.75 on the BSE on Friday.
