Mankind Pharma gains after new Udaipur-based plant commences operations
|

Mankind Pharma rose 1.28% to Rs 1762 after the company announced that the commercial operations with respect to pharmaceutical formulations has commenced at its newly set-up plant in Udaipur, Rajasthan, with effect from 25 September 2023.

The announcement was made after market hours on Monday.
Mankind Pharma is engaged in manufacturing of pharmaceutical formulations. The company is one of the leading manufacturers of prescription medicines.
The company's consolidated net profit jumped 66.4% to Rs 486.87 crore in Q1 FY24 as compared with Rs 292.65 crore in Q1 FY23. Revenue from operations jumped 18.3% to Rs 2,578.62 crore during the quarter as compared with Rs 2,180 crore posted in corresponding quarter last year.
