State Bank of India gained for a third straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 590, up 1.12% on the day as on 12:49 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.64% on the day, quoting at 19947.45. The Sensex is at 66971.86, up 0.56%. State Bank of India has risen around 5.21% in last one month.

Meanwhile, index of which State Bank of India is a constituent, has risen around 2.99% in last one month and is currently quoting at 45156.4, up 0.56% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 65.89 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 171.66 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark September futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 591.35, up 1.07% on the day. State Bank of India is up 6.33% in last one year as compared to a 11.21% spurt in NIFTY and a 11.91% spurt in the index.

The PE of the stock is 8.53 based on TTM earnings ending June 23.
