The company has received patent for invention entitled ‘synergistic pesticidal composition comprising pymetrozine, dinotefuran and sutiable strobilurin fungicide' for the term of 20 years commencing from 14 February 2022.
“The said patent is an effective solution for tackling the brown plant hopper (BPH) green leaf hopper, white blacked plant, and variety of fungal diseases that have long plagued rice crops in India and around the world,” the company stated in exchange filing.
Best Agrolife is engaged in the in the trading of agrochemical products such as insecticides, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and plant nutrients. The company's crop protection chemical products are sold through distributors and co-marketing alliances with leading Indian companies throughout the country.
The company's consolidated net profit jumped 125.5% to Rs 90.50 crore on 32% increase in net sales to Rs 612.23 crore in Q1 FY24 over Q1 FY23.
The scrip fell 0.24% to Rs 1,165.35 on the BSE.
