LIC dilutes stake in Hindustan Copper
Life Insurance Corporation of India said that it has decreased its stake in Hindustan Copper from 12.323% to 10.249%.
LIC sold 20,054,042 equity shares or 2.074% equity at an average cost of Rs 117.62 via open market sale during the period from 10 March 2022 to 19 July 2023.

Hindustan Copper is engaged in the exploration, exploitation, and mining of copper and copper ore, including beneficiation of minerals, smelting, and refining.

LIC has been providing life insurance in India for more than 65 years and is the largest life insurer in the country.

Shares of LIC rose 1.11% to Rs 627.30 and Hindustan Copper fell 0.13% to Rs 119.60 on the BSE.
