The first order, worth Rs 125.85 crore, involves construction of a three-lane additional flyover, with vehicular underpass at different location, for rectification of black spots on the Salem-Kumarapalaym section of NH-544 in the State of Tamil Nadu on EPC mode.
The second contract, valued at Rs 41.15 crore, involves restoration/rejuvenation and beautification of Vandiyur Tank in Madurai City Municipal Corporation.
The company further announced that it has received projects from various town panchayats for improvements to existing water supply distribution system and for providing house service connection at Odugathur, Pallikonda, Othakkalmandapam, Kannampalayam, Nilakkottai. The cumulative value of these contracts is Rs 122.3 crore.
“Our order book as on 30 June 2023 is Rs 3,240 crore,” RPP Infra said in a statement.
On the BSE, over 1.66 lakh shares of the company had changed hands at the counter as compared with an average trading volume of 0.20 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
The scrip had zoomed 15.4% to hit the day's high at Rs 66.07, which is also a 52-week high for the counter.
The value of the aforementioned contracts is slightly higher than the present market capitalization of RPP Infra, which is Rs 239.47 crore.
RPP Infra Projects is engaged in infrastructure development such as roads, buildings, industrial structures, power and irrigation.
The company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 16.01 crore in the quarter ended March 2023 as against net loss of Rs 9.41 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2022. Sales rose 9.84% to Rs 305.65 crore in Q4 FY23 over Q4 FY22.
