PNB Housing Finance Board to mull fund raising upto Rs 5,000 cr
|

PNB Housing Finance said that its board will meet on Thursday, 22 June 2023, to consider the proposal of raising upto Rs 5,000 crore through non convertible debentures (NCDs) on private placement basis.

In an exchange filing the company stated, “Meeting of the board of directors of the company is scheduled to be held on Thursday, 22 June 2023 inter alia to consider and approve issuance of non – convertible debentures aggregating up to Rs 5,000 crore on private placement basis.”
PNB Housing Finance is a deposit-accepting housing finance company, with second largest deposits outstanding within housing finance companies. As on 31 March 2023, Punjab National Bank held 28.15% in the company.
PNB Housing Finance posted 64.7% surge in consolidated net profit to Rs 279.28 crore in Q4 FY23 as against Rs 169.54 crore in Q4 FY22. Total income rose 14.9% to Rs 1,637.72 crore in the fourth quarter from Rs 1,425.83 crore in the corresponding year last year.
The scrip advanced 1.55% to end at Rs 569.40 on Friday, 16 June 2023.
