Meanwhile, Nifty Auto index of which NTPC Ltd is a constituent, has gained around 0.79% in last one month and is currently quoting at 24169.5, up 0.25% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 129.88 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 111.27 lakh shares in last one month.
