Among the other constituents of the index, Jindal Steel & Power Ltd decreased 1.25% and Tata Steel Ltd lost 1.13% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went up 11.73 % over last one year compared to the 13.71% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
