Bajaj Auto's total domestic sales more than doubled during the month to 2,28,401 units, up from 1,12,308 units sold in the same period last year. Exports in May 2023 aggregated to 1,26,747 units (down 23% YoY).
While the company's 2-wheeler sales rose by 23% to 3,07,696 units, sales of commercial vehicles surged by 80% to 47,452 units in May 2023 as compared with May 2022.
Bajaj Auto is engaged in the business of development, manufacturing and distribution of automobiles such as motorcycles, commercial vehicles, electric two-wheelers etc. and parts thereof.
The auto major reported consolidated net profit rose 11.7% to Rs 1,704.74 crore on 11.97% increase in net sales to Rs 8,929.23 crore in Q4 FY23 over Q4 FY22.
