Vikas Maheshwari has been appointed as the new chief financial officer of Rainbow Children's Medicare, effective 1 June 2023.
Vikas Maheshwari has over 25 years of experience in the areas of corporate finance, M&A, deal structuring, strategy and treasury management. Maheshwari is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a bachelor degree in commerce from Lucknow University. Before joining Rainbow Group, Maheshwari was most recently associated with Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences as group chief financial officer.
Rainbow Children's Medicare is a multi-specialty pediatric, obstetrics and gynecology hospital chain in India, operating 16 hospitals and 3 clinics in 6 cities, with a total bed capacity of 1,655 beds.
The pediatric hospital chain's consolidated net profit surged to Rs 53.86 crore in Q4 FY23 from Rs 12.26 crore in Q4 FY22. Revenue from operations increased by 49.20% YoY to Rs 316.96 crore during the quarter.
Shares of Rainbow Children's Medicare rose 2.63% to Rs 987.40 on Wednesday, 31 May 2023.
