Revenue from operations soared 796.78 crore in Q4 Fy23 as compared with Rs 135.58 crore in Q4 FY22.
Profit before tax declined 45.52% year on year to Rs 205.81 crore in Q4 FY23.
Total expenses slipped 36.94% to Rs 629.61 crore as against Rs 998.40 crore in Q4 FY22. Cost of material consumed stood at Rs 36.79 crore (down 36.79% YoY), employee benefit expenses was at Rs 134.31 crore (down 10.64% YoY) during the period under review.
On full year basis, the company's net profit slipped 29.55% to Rs 352.17 crore on 8.97% declined in revenue from operations to Rs 2469.02 crore in FY23 over FY22.
Meanwhile, the board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 1.20 per equity share for FY23, subject to approval of shareholders. The dividend will be paid within 30 days from the date of (annual general meeting) AGM.
Bharat Dynamics is engaged in the manufacturing of Missiles and allied Defence Equipments. The Company provides majority of its goods and services to the Indian Armed forces and Government of India.
