Profit before tax in Q4 FY23 was at Rs 435.40 crore, down 12.5% from Rs 497.70 crore recorded in the same period a year ago. Total expenses surged 65.59% year on year to Rs 3,691.67 crore in Q4 FY23.

EBIDTA declined 7% to Rs 466 crore in the fourth quarter of FY23 as against Rs 500 crore posted in Q4 FY22. EBIDTA margin slipped to 13% in Q4 FY23 as compared to 21% reported in the corresponding quarter previous year.

Total volumes rose by 7% to 743 million standard cubic meter (million SCM) in Q4 FY23 from 697 million SCM in Q4 FY22. Compressed natural gas (CNG) sales volume stood at 550 million SCM (up 8% YoY) while total piped natural gas (PNG) sales volume aggregated to 193 million SCM (up 3% YoY) during the period under review.

In financial year ended March 2023, the company's net profit rose 9.95% to Rs 1,445.02 crore on 83.5% surge in net sales to Rs 14,145.85 crore as compared to FY22.
