Total expenses during the quarter declined by 5% YoY to Rs 347.41 crore, due to lower raw material costs (down 9% YoY) and lower other expenses (down 4% YoY).

Profit before tax in Q4 FY23 stood at Rs 67.10 crore, up by 4% from Rs 64.63 crore in Q4 FY22.

Alkyl Amines' net profit increased by 2% to Rs 228.66 crore on a 9% rise in revenue from operations to Rs 1,682.33 crore in FY23 as compared with FY22.

The company's board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 10 per equity share for the financial year 2022-23.

Alkyl Amines Chemicals is a global supplier of aliphatic amines, specialty amines and amine derivatives to the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, water treatment, rubber chemical and a variety of industries.

The scrip shed 0.83% to currently trade at Rs 2531.35 on the BSE.
