Profit before tax in tumbled 14.8% year on year to Rs 32.88 crore in the quarter ended 31 March 2023.

Total expenses in Q4 FY23 were at Rs 1,758.20 crore, up 11.47% YoY. Cost of raw materials consumed was at Rs 1,298.19 crore (up 18.06%) and employee expense was at Rs 58.83crore (up 4.59%) during the period under review.

On full year basis, the company's net profit (from continuing operations) slipped 33.19% to Rs 165.86 crore on 13.76% rise in net sales to Rs 7,246.97 crore in FY 23 over FY22.

Hatsun Agro Product manufactures and markets dairy products like milk, curd, ice creams, dairy whitener, skimmed milk powder, ghee, paneer, etc.

Shares of Hatsun Agro Product declined 0.46% to Rs 866.35 on the BSE.
