Revenue from operations was at Rs 1,177.39 crore in the quarter ended 31 December 2022, declining 9% from Rs 1,294.08 crore reported in the same period a year ago.
Profit before tax dropped 45.1% to Rs 121.09 crore in Q3 FY23 as compared to Rs 220.57 crore posted in Q3 FY22.
Supreme Petrochem (SPL) manufactures polystyrene, expandable polystyrene and extruded polystyrene. It has a polystyrene manufacturing plant at Nagothane in Raigad, Maharashtra. Apart from the primary business of polystyrene and expandable polystyrene production, SPL imports styrene monomer and trades in the domestic market.
Shares of Supreme Petrochem gained 2.03% to Rs 371.70 on the BSE.
