Among the other constituents of the index, Optiemus Infracom Ltd increased 0.53% and Sterlite Technologies Ltd added 0.32% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecommunication index went up 0.42 % over last one year compared to the 2.98% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
