The stock has gained 4.89% in two sessions from its recent closing low of Rs 369.05 recorded on 27 May 2022.

The stock was trading above its 50-day and 100-day simple moving average (SMA) placed at 372.82 and 386.26, respectively. It is, however, trading below its 200-day SMA placed at 448.95.

In a regulatory filing made during market hours today, Indraprastha Gas said that the board of directors has appointed/re-designated Sanjay Kumar, head (finance) as the chief financial officer (CFO) of the company w.e.f. 1 June 2022. Bimal Ram Nagar shall cease to be the CFO of the company w.e.f. 1 June 2022.
Indraprastha Gas is a natural gas distribution company. It supplies natural gas as cooking and vehicular fuel. As on 31 March 2022, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) held 7.46% stake in the company.
On a standalone basis, IGL's net profit rose 9.24% to Rs 361.60 crore on a 54.9% surge in net sales to Rs 2,649.77 crore in Q4 FY22 over Q4 FY21.
