On a sequential basis, the company's total sales rose 4.57% from 2,97,188 units sold in March 2022.
Domestic sales dropped 24% to 1,02,177 units in April 2022 as compared to 1,34,471 units in April 2021. Exports skid 18% to 2,08,597 units in April 2022 as against 2,53,545 units in April 2021.
The total two-wheelers sale declined 19% to 2,81,711 units in April 2022 as against 3,48,173 units dispatched in March 2021. While, commercial vehicles sales decreased 27% to 29,063 units in April 2022 from 39,843 units sold in April 2021.
Bajaj Auto is engaged in the business of development, manufacturing and distribution of automobiles such as motorcycles, commercial vehicles, electric two-wheelers etc. and parts thereof.
The company's consolidated net profit declined 1.62% to Rs 1526.16 crore on 8.14% decline in net sales to Rs 7728.13 crore in Q4 March 2022 over Q4 March 2021.
