Maruti Suzuki India Ltd fell 4.7% today to trade at Rs 7240.8. The S&P BSE Auto index is down 2.6% to quote at 22764.31. The index is down 13.27 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Ashok Leyland Ltd decreased 3.99% and Hero MotoCorp Ltd lost 3.93% on the day. The S&P BSE Auto index went down 4.96 % over last one year compared to the 6.87% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has lost 14.98% over last one month compared to 13.27% fall in S&P BSE Auto index and 8.76% drop in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 19822 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 25023 shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 9022 on 10 Feb 2022. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 6400 on 03 May 2021.
