State Bank of India lost 1.35% today to trade at Rs 215.15. The S&P BSE BANKEX index is down 0.29% to quote at 27001.66. The index is up 12.85 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, City Union Bank Ltd decreased 0.89% and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd lost 0.8% on the day. The S&P BSE BANKEX index went down 10.58 % over last one year compared to the 6.69% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

State Bank of India has added 12% over last one month compared to 12.85% gain in S&P BSE BANKEX index and 5.6% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 2.21 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 38.07 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 351 on 28 Nov 2019. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 149.55 on 22 May 2020.
