Vodafone Idea Ltd rose 6.92% today to trade at Rs 4.79. The S&P BSE Telecom index is up 0.83% to quote at 1257.74. The index is up 10.78 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Tejas Networks Ltd increased 4.69% and Sterlite Technologies Ltd added 0.86% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecom index went up 31.86 % over last one year compared to the 16.19% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

Vodafone Idea Ltd has lost 20.17% over last one month compared to 10.78% gain in S&P BSE Telecom index and 0.45% drop in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 40.17 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 349.26 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 21.32 on 13 Mar 2019. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 2.61 on 15 Nov 2019.
