Among the other constituents of the index, Tejas Networks Ltd increased 6.53% and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd added 4.55% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecom index went up 30.57 % over last one year compared to the 11.64% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
