Godrej Industries Ltd soared 7.20% to Rs 495.25 at 11:48 IST. The stock was the biggest gainer in the BSE's 'A' group. On the BSE, 1.44 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 20630 shares in the past one month.

MMTC Ltd surged 6.15% to Rs 31.95. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 4.25 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 2.58 lakh shares in the past one month.

Kwality Ltd spiked 4.93% to Rs 8.51. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 1.46 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 8.31 lakh shares in the past one month.

Jet Airways (India) Ltd spurt 4.83% to Rs 253.75. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 13.3 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 9.13 lakh shares in the past one month.

Indian Oil Corporation Ltd advanced 4.55% to Rs 141.4. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 6.08 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 11.3 lakh shares in the past one month.
