Hindustan Construction Company Ltd surged 11.07% to Rs 14.25 at 11:48 IST. The stock was the biggest gainer in the BSE's 'A' group. On the BSE, 25.7 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 17.86 lakh shares in the past one month.

PTC India Financial Services Ltd soared 8.85% to Rs 18.45. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 2.66 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 1.19 lakh shares in the past one month.

K P R Mill Ltd spiked 6.01% to Rs 675.55. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 9964 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 2793 shares in the past one month.
