BPL enters into MOU with Government of Chhattisgarh
For commissioning a 1x300 MW coal based thermal power station
BPL has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Government of Chhattisgarh for commissioning a 1x300 MW coal based thermal power station in the State of Chhattisgarh, subject to obtaining necessary approvals, coal allotment, acquisition of land, clearances, permissions, licenses from the applicable authorities. The project will be implemented by Bharat Energy Ventures, one of the subsidiaries for the company.
The company made this announcement during the trading hours today, 02 December 2009.
