Pritish Nandy Communications, after being recently named the first superbrand among Indian motion picture companies, won the gold medal for excellence on 27 February 2009 and its chairman, Pritish Nandy was awarded the Glory of India award at the seminar on Indo-Thai Economic Co-operation held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi by the Institute of Economic Studies, Pallab Bhattacharya, CEO, PNC collected both the awards.
The honours were done by Korn Dabbaransi, former deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, and Ranjit Shekhar Mooshahary, Governor of Meghalay, in the presence of Dr. G V G Krishnamurthy, former Election Commissioner of India and Dr. Bhishma Narain Sing, former Governor of Tamil Nadu and Assam
