Net profit of WPIL declined 85.43% to Rs 0.37 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 2.54 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006. Sales declined 11.41% to Rs 25.24 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 28.49 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006.

For the full year, net profit rose 184.62% to Rs 1.48 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 0.52 crore during the previous year ended March 2006. Sales declined 12.10% to Rs 64.22 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 73.06 crore during the previous year ended March 2006.
