Net profit of Alembic declined 35.38% to Rs 11.05 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 17.10 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006. Sales rose 13.72% to Rs 163.71 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 143.96 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006.

For the full year, net profit declined 9.98% to Rs 70.68 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 78.52 crore during the previous year ended March 2006. Sales rose 10.10% to Rs 694.63 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 630.88 crore during the previous year ended March 2006.
