Other direct service cost rose from 33.63% to 35.45%.
Other income rose 600% to Rs 14 crore. PBIDT rose 16.49% to Rs 438 crore. Provision for interest rose 4.20% to Rs 124 crore. PBDT rose 22.18% to Rs 314 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 23.47% to Rs 121 crore. Profit before tax grew 21.38% to Rs 193.00 crore. Share of profit/loss were nil in both the periods. Provision for tax was expense of Rs 49 crore, compared to Rs 50 crore. Effective tax rate was 25.39% compared to 31.45%. Net profit attributable to owners of the company increased 19.49% to Rs 141.00 crore.

Sales of Others segment has gone up 8.33% to Rs 26.00 crore (accounting for 0.53% of total sales). Sales of Development Projects segment has gone up 25.86% to Rs 73.00 crore (accounting for 1.49% of total sales). Inter-segment sales came down from Rs 3.00 crore to Rs 1.00 crore.
- Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 12.55% to Rs 305.00 crore. PBIT of EPC segment rose 9.05% to Rs 265.00 crore (accounting for 86.89% of total PBIT). PBIT of Development Projects segment rose 35.71% to Rs 38.00 crore (accounting for 12.46% of total PBIT).
- PBIT margin of EPC segment fell from 6.19% to 5.52%. PBIT margin of Development Projects segment rose from 48.28% to 52.05%. Overall PBIT margin fell from 6.76% to 6.23%.
For year-to-date (YTD) results analysis. Net sales (including other operating income) of Kalpataru Projects International has increased 18.96% to Rs 13655 crore. Sales of EPC segment has gone up 19.39% to Rs 13,372.00 crore (accounting for 97.92% of total sales). Sales of Others segment has gone down 3.49% to Rs 83.00 crore (accounting for 0.61% of total sales). Sales of Development Projects segment has gone up 1.52% to Rs 201.00 crore (accounting for 1.47% of total sales). Inter-segment sales came down from Rs 5.00 crore to Rs 1.00 crore.
Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 11.59% to Rs 828.00 crore. PBIT of EPC segment rose 6.52% to Rs 719.00 crore (accounting for 86.84% of total PBIT). PBIT of Others reported profit of Rs 7.00 crore compared to loss of Rs 8.00 crore. PBIT of Development Projects segment rose 36.00% to Rs 102.00 crore (accounting for 12.32% of total PBIT).
PBIT margin of EPC segment fell from 6.03% to 5.38%. PBIT margin of Others segment rose from negative 9.30% to 8.43%. PBIT margin of Development Projects segment rose from 37.88% to 50.75%. Overall PBIT margin fell from 6.46% to 6.06%.

Other income rose 69.23% to Rs 44 crore. PBIDT rose 14.66% to Rs 1220 crore. Provision for interest rose 12.24% to Rs 376 crore.
PBDT rose 15.78% to Rs 844 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 25.53% to Rs 354 crore.
Profit before tax grew 9.62% to Rs 490.00 crore. Share of profit/loss were nil in both the periods. Provision for tax was expense of Rs 143 crore, compared to Rs 135 crore. Effective tax rate was 29.18% compared to 31.40%.
Minority interest decreased 80% to Rs 2.00 crore. Net profit attributable to owners of the company increased 21.05% to Rs 345.00 crore.
