Alembic’s unaudited results for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 is as follows:

The company has posted a net profit of Rs 18.25 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 (Q1 FY 06-07) as compared to Rs 10.83 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 (Q1 FY 05-06). Total Income has increased to Rs 149.03 crore for Q1 FY 06-07 from Rs 137.57 crore in Q1 FY 05-06.
