Honeywell Automation India reported an 13% increase in net sales to Rs 811.79 crore for Dec 18 quarter. OPM was higher by 180 bps to 14.6%, thus resulting in the OP growth of 28% to Rs 118.18 crore. Other income was higher by 168% to Rs 17.72 crore. PBIDT thus was up by 37% to Rs 135.90 crore. Interest costs stood at Nil. After providing depreciation of Rs 3.94 crore up by 9% YoY, PBT stood at Rs 131.96 crore, up by 38%. After providing total tax of Rs 46.34 crore, up by 40% on YoY basis, PAT for the Dec 18 quarter stood at Rs 85.62 crore, up by 38% YoY.
Performance for the 9 months ended Dec 18
For 9 months ended Dec 18, net sales were up by 15% to Rs 2364.47 crore. OPM was higher by 220 bps to 16.0% thus resulting in a 34% increase in OP to Rs 379.10 crore. Other income was up by 171% to Rs 55.89 crore. Interest cost stood at Rs Nil. Depreciation was up by 8% to Rs 11.80 crore, leading a 44% increase in PBT to Rs 423.19 crore. After providing total tax of Rs 148.47 crore, PAT for 9 months ended Dec 18 stood at Rs 274.72 crore up by 44% YoY.
