For the quarter ended Sep 18 net sales from engineering segment stood at Rs 21.05 crore up by 17%. Net sales from Food division which account for 21% of total sales was up by 43% YoY. PBIT from engineering segment stood at Rs 3.94 crore down by 31% and PBIT margin stood at 18.7% as compared to 31.8% for Sep 17 quarter. PBIT from food division stood at Rs 0.73 crore down by 4% with PBIT margin at 12.8% as compared to 19.1% for Sep 17 quarter.

Performance for 6 months ended Sep 18

For 6 months ended Sep 18, net sales were up by 27% to Rs 52.77 crore. OPM stood at 10.5% down by 410 bps, resulting in OP fall of 8% to Rs 5.53 crore. Other income was down by 67% to Rs 0.75 crore. Depreciation was down by 3% to Rs 1.45 crore. After providing total tax of Rs 0.90 crore, down by 53% YoY, PAT for 6 months ended Sep 18 stood at Rs 3.75 crore, down by 18% YoY.

For 6 months ended Sep 18, net sales of engineering segment stood at Rs 43.55 crore and accounted for 83% of total sales. Net sales from food segment which account for 17% of total sales stood at Rs 9.22 crore. PBIT from engineering division stood at Rs 9.37 crore down by 2% and accounted for 88% of total PBIT. The PBIT from food division which accounted for 12% of total PBIT stood at Rs 1.28 crore down by 15% YoY.
