Swaraj Engines reported a 18% increase in net sales for Sep 18 quarter to Rs 247.03 crore. Company's engine sales witnessed a growth of 14.3% YoY and stood at 28560 units for Sep 18 quarter.
OPM was down by about 60 bps to 16.2%, thus restricting the OP growth to 14% to Rs 40.13 crore. Other income was down by 24% to Rs 3.86 crore. Depreciation was higher by 13% to Rs 4.80 crore. After providing total tax of Rs 13.82 crore, up by 11%, PAT for quarter ended Sep 18 stood at Rs 25.37 crore up by 8% YoY.
Performance for the 6 months ended Sep 18
Company's engine sales witnessed a healthy growth of 14.6% and stood at 55302 units for 6 months ended Sep 18. With the rise in engine sale volume coupled with increase in the share of higher HP engine sale, net sales for 6 months ended Sep 18 grew by 13% to Rs 481.55 crore.
OPM was up by 10 bps to 15.9% resulting in a 14% increase in OP to Rs 76.75 crore. Other income was down by 22% to Rs 7.71 crore. Depreciation was up by 13% to Rs 9.54 crore. Interest cost stood at Rs 8 lakh. After providing total tax of Rs 26.41 crore up by 11%, PAT for the 6 months ended Sep 18 stood at Rs 48.43 crore up by 8%.
