Wanbury has launched an advanced form of its anti-anemia drug Cpink (Ferrous Ascorbate). The product is called Cpink IIC and will be used in the treatment of anemia in pregnant women and children. Cpink is currently the second largest selling brand in iron segment with a turnover of Rs 30 crore and 19% market share as per latest ORG IMS.
Cpink IIC has been introduced with a unique Integrated Iron Complexation Technology, resulting in a significant reduction in the gastro-intestinal (GI) irritation and can result in increased absorption of iron in the body, compared to the existing ferrous ascorbate brands in the country. With the new technology, wanbury expects to reach the number one position in the ferrous ascorbate market.
