Highlights:
AUM of the company has increased 29% to Rs 52286 crore end September 2020 over September 2019. Standalone asset under management of the company increased 32% to Rs 47016 crore.
The average gold loan per branch has increased to Rs 10 crore from Rs 8.8 crore in the previous quarter.
The gold holdings of the company have declined to 163 tonnes from 165 tonnes end June 2020.
The company has witnessed strong growth in branch footfalls despite covid-19.
The company has disbursed new loans to 4.4 lakh customers amounting to approximately Rs 3000 crore and the company also disbursed to 4.7 lakh inactive customers in Q2FY2021.
The company has maintained liquidity buffer of Rs 7946 crore end September 2020.
The subsidiaries of the company followed a cautious approach, while non-gold AUM stood at 11% of the consolidated AUM.
The company is witnessing strong collection efficiency, while the loan growth is expected to be above 15% for FY2021.
The collection efficiency stood at 84% for home finance, 93% for personal finance, 82% for Muthoot money and 86% for MFI segment.
The bank has continued to diversify its sources of funds and share of bank borrowing has declined from 46% last year to 41% currently mainly driven by increase in share of NCDs.
The loan to value ratio currently stands at 61%, which provide enough room for growth.
The average cost of borrowing stood at 9% in Q2FY2021, while the company expects a reduction in its cost of borrowing during H2FY2021.
The company has 50 branches in H1FY2021, while the company is looking at 100-150 more branches in H2FY2021.
The company expects the home loan book to be flat, while its targeting loan growth of Rs 400-500 crore in MFI book.
