During the month of March 2024, Petrochemicals sector’s Marketcap increased 50.3% to Rs 26894.34 crore, compared to 50.32% rise in total listed marketcap to Rs 38945362.38 crore.

Sector’s share of total listed marketcap moved to 0.07% in March 2024 from 0.07% in February 2023 and 0.1% in February 2022.


In terms of price appreciation in the sector, there were 1 gainers and 11 losers in the month of Mar 2024. The gainers accounted for 7.69% of sector companies, losers accounted for 84.62% of sector companies, while 1% remained unchanged.

Savita Oil Tech (6.18% gain) was the only one gainer.

The 3 losers at the bottom were SVC Industries (-26.25% fall), Manali Petrochem (-17.74% fall) and Agarwal Indl. (-15.77% fall).
