A bulk deal of 31.47 lakh shares was executed on the Prism Cement scrip at Rs 102.70 per share at 12:46 IST on BSE today, 25 May 2015.
Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 316.57 points, or 1.13%, to 27,640.93
Bulk deal boosted volume on the Prism Cement counter. On BSE, so far 32.85 lakh shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 1.10 lakh shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 105.90 and a low of Rs 99.60 so far during the day. The stock hit a record high of Rs 133.60 on 8 April 2015. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 51.95 on 27 May 2014.
The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 22 May 2015, falling 10.65% compared with Sensex's 0.24% rise. The scrip also underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 10.45% as against Sensex's 4.36% fall.
The mid-cap company has an equity capital of Rs 503.36 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
Prism Cement's net profit jumped 462.6% to Rs 61.89 crore on 4.5% increase in total income to Rs 1597.07 crore in Q4 March 2015 over Q4 March 2014.
