Five bulk deals aggregating to 7.24 lakh shares were executed on the Radico Khaitan counter at an average price of Rs 79.63 per share on BSE today, 1 September 2014. Four bulk deals were executed in opening trade and the fifth bulk deal was executed at 12:16 IST on BSE today, 1 September 2014.

Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was up 203.87 points, or 0.77%, to 26,841.98

On BSE, so far 11.41 lakh shares were traded in the counter with pending buy orders of 1.24 lakh shares at upper circuit. The stock has an average volume of 1.05 lakh shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 82.35 and low of Rs 76.35 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 171.50 on 24 January 2014. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 78.45 on 28 August 2014.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 28 August 2014, falling 19.41% compared with 2.49% rise in the Sensex. The scrip had also underperformed the market in past one quarter, sliding 27.53% as against Sensex's 8.48% rise.

The small-cap company has an equity capital of Rs 26.61 crore. Face value per share is Rs 2.

Net profit of Radico Khaitan declined 26.5% to Rs 16.55 crore on 3.6% rise in net sales to Rs 360.83 crore in Q1 June 2014 over Q1 June 2013.

Radico Khaitan is one of India's oldest liquor manufacturers.
