Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 129.13 points, or 0.51%, to 25,184.61.

On BSE, so far 86,000 shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 9,957 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 160 so far during the day, which is also a 52-week high for the counter. The stock hit a low of Rs 148.95 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 84.30 on 17 February 2014.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 25 June 2014, falling 1.26% compared with 2.51% rise in the Sensex. The scrip had, however, outperformed the market in past one quarter, soaring 60.57% as against Sensex's 14.77% rise.

The small-cap company has an equity capital of Rs 49.50 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

Man Infraconstruction said that its board has approved sub-division of 1 (one) equity share of face value of Rs 10 each into 5 (five) equity shares of face value of Rs 2.

The company will seek shareholders' approval for the proposed stock split. The company will also seek shareholders' nod for borrowing funds in excess of aggregate paid-up share capital and free reserves of the company; and for creation of mortgage, charge, hypothecation, lien and other encumbrances.

Further, the firm will seek shareholders' approval for investing or providing loans and advances or giving guarantees/securities up to 100% of free reserves and securities premium account or Rs 900 crore, whichever is higher.

On a consolidated basis, Man Infraconstruction's net profit declined 9% to Rs 3.66 crore on 6.6% growth in net sales to Rs 113.31 crore in Q4 March 2014 over Q4 March 2013.
