Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 41.51 points, or 0.24%, to 17,423.34.

On BSE, 18.84 lakh shares were traded in the counter compared with average volume of 4.92 lakh shares over the past two weeks.

The stock hit a high of Rs 79.60 and a low of Rs 70.05 so far during the day.

According to reports, a Delhi Court today dismissed the bail pleas of DMK chief Karunanidhi's daughter, Kanimozhi and seven others in the 2G spectrum allocation case, including Shahid Balwa.

The petitioners whose bail pleas were dismissed were former Telecom Secretary Siddharth Behura, former Telecom Minister A Raja's erstwhile Private Secretary R K Chandolia, Swan Telecom promoter Shahid Usman Balwa, Kalaignar TV MD Sharad Kumar, Kusegaon Fruits & Vegetables directors Asif Balwa and Rajiv Agarwal and Bollywood film-maker Karim Morani.

On a consolidated basis, D B Realty's net profit fell 33.5% to Rs 41.14 crore on 16.3% slide in net sales to Rs 221.50 crore in Q1 June 2011 over Q1 June 2010.
