The mid-cap stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 30 September 2010, falling 1.05% compared with the Sensex's return of 11.30%. It had also underperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 1.37% as against 13.38% rise in the Sensex.

Ahluwalia Contracts (India)'s net profit rose 25.4% to Rs 24.32 crore on 26.3% increase in net sales to Rs 392.61 crore in Q1 June 2010 over Q1 June 2009.
