GTL Infrastructure jumped 3.55% to Rs 46.70, halting three-day 1.84% fall. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group.
Godrej Properties advanced 3.46% to Rs 736.90. It was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. Recent reports indicated the company expects revenue to jump more than 50% in the fiscal year ending in March 2011 as rising incomes boost demand for housing.
HDFC gained 3.29% to Rs 730, halting three-day 3.44% slide. It was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group.
Shree Renuka Sugars surged 3.29% to Rs 87.95 on reports the Centre will bring down levy obligation on the sugar industry from 20% to 10% from October 2010 in anticipation of a large output. It was the fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
Sterlite Industries rose 3.28% to Rs 166.80 on reports the company will appeal against the Madras High Court order, which directed closing down its copper smelter plant in Tuticorin. It was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
