Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd rose 7.74% today to trade at Rs 275. The BSE Power index is up 2.43% to quote at 7486.81. The index is up 6.02 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Adani Power Ltd increased 5.97% and Adani Energy Solutions Ltd added 5.32% on the day. The BSE Power index went up 91.59 % over last one year compared to the 18.9% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
