Revenue from operations rose 2.82% quarter on quarter to Rs 3556.19 crore in the December quarter.

On year on year basis, the company’s net profit jumped 42.32% while revenue declined 4.17 % in Q3 FY24.

Profit before tax in Q3 FY24 was at Rs 598.97 crore, up 34.62% from Rs 444.91 crore recorded in the same period a year ago.

Total expenses slipped 7.67% year on year to Rs 3,467.54 crore during the quarter.

EBIDTA grew by 32% to Rs 564.14 crore in the third quarter of FY24 as against Rs 428.47 crore posted in Q3 FY23. EBIDTA margin improved to 16% in Q3 FY24 as compared to 12% reported in the corresponding quarter previous year.

Total volumes rose by 4% to 780.26 million standard cubic meter (million SCM) in Q3 FY24 from 747.06 million SCM in Q3 FY23. Compressed natural gas (CNG) sales volume stood at 582.19 million SCM (up 4% YoY) while total piped natural gas (PNG) sales volume aggregated to 198.07 million SCM (up 5% YoY) during the period under review.
